Guy Winstead began his career in funeral service in 1985 at his family’s funeral home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After the death of his father-in-law in 1996, Guy experienced first-hand the funeral arrangement process from the grieving family’s perspective. That moment proved pivotal, prompting his transition from at-need services to a dedicated focus on pre-need planning.
After several years as a pre-need agent, Guy advanced into leadership and management roles. Over the next seven years, he successfully expanded his territory from South Mississippi to the entire Southeast, overseeing operations across Arkansas, Louisiana, Eastward to the Carolinas. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Guy focused on a new professional direction.

In this new opportunity, Guy served as the VP of Sales for a publicly traded company specializing in the marketing and sale of prepaid funeral services. In this role, Guy was instrumental in product development, sales leadership, recruitment, and the execution of nationwide marketing strategies. Over nearly two decades, he helped build the organization into a recognized national presence. In 2025 Guy founded Pinnacle Funeral Partners.
Today, Guy brings the full scope of his experience, leadership, and proven expertise to Pinnacle Funeral Partners, delivering the same strategic insight and results-driven approach that have driven growth for organizations throughout his career.
